      These significant features assure ease of installation plus performance and serviceability...
      • ETL certified by Intertek Testing Services to be in conformance with applicable UL and CSA codes and standards for Class I or II, Divisions I or II hazardous locations (general purpose optional).
      • Explosion proof full hermetic compressor.
      • Explosion proof evaporator and condenser fan motors.
      • High voltage electrical controls are in one NEMA 7 explosion proof control box.
      • Low voltage electrical controls are served by an intrinsically safe relay.
      • Entire unit cabinet constructed of 16 gauge type 304 (type 316 optional) stainless steel with stainless steel handles for maximum protection from corrosive environments.
      • Evaporator and condenser coils have copper tubes and aluminum fins.
      • Optional Heresite baked phenolic or epoxy coil coatings for corrosion protection.
      • Thermostatically controlled expansion valve.
      • High and low refrigerant pressure cut-out switches.
      • Solid state time delay relay to prevent short cycling.
      • Frost control to stop compressor in the event of coil icing due to dirty filters, etc.
      • Unit is fully serviceable from side access doors and external grilles.
      • Refrigerant sight glass with moisture indicator for aid in servicing system.
      • Low Ambient operation to 20°F
      • Optional 3 KW and 6 KW explosion proof electric heat.
      • Also available in water cooled models.
      The 1, 1 1/2 and 2 ton BWMX units are air cooled single packaged wall mount cooling units is ETL certified by Intertek Testing Services to be in conformance with applicable UL and CSA codes and standards for Class I or II, Division I or II, (in various groups) hazardous locations (general purpose is available as an option). The 1 1/2 ton BWMX unit is also listed by UL and it was the first explosion proof air conditioning unit to be listed by UL. The unit cabinet and internal chassis are stainless steel. Unit options include 3 KW electrical heat and Heresite baked phenolic or epoxy coated coils for corrosion protection. Water cooled wall mount units are available as an option. These units are installed on the outside structure wall with only the return/supply grille inside the structure. Operating voltage is 208/230-1-60 or 200-1-50. The units are also available in 208/230-3-60 or 460-3-60.
