    These significant features assure ease of installation plus performance and serviceability...
    • ETL certified by Intertek Testing Services to be in conformance with applicable UL and CSA codes and standards for Class 1, Group D, Division I hazardous locations (condenser section only).
    • High refrigerant pressure cut-out switch.
    • Compressor Starting relay and starting capacitor.
    • Solid-state time delay relay to prevent short cycling.
    • Frost control to stop compressor in the event of coil icing due to dirty filters, etc.
    • Permanently lubricated ball bearing explosion proof condenser fan motor wired with mineral insulated cable.
    • Entire unit constructed of 16 gauge type 304 stainless steel (type 316 optional).
    • Evaporator and condenser coils have epoxy coated copper tubed and aluminum fins.
    • Optional Heresite baked phenolic coil coating for maximum corrosion protection.
    • Unit is fully serviceable from the top. All electrical controls are in one control panel.
    • Evaporator section is insulated with 1" thick, 1-1/2 lb. density acoustic insulation. Compressor is mounted on external isolators for whisper quiet operation.
    • Copper condensate drain is trapped and prepiped to outdoors eliminating the need for field piping.
    • High and low refrigerant pressure ports for aid in servicing.
    • Internal chassis and condensate drain pan are 16 gauge stainless steel as standard to prevent corrosion.
    • Optional electric heat (1.6 KW).

     

    BAR13 units are packaged roof mount cooling/heating systems with a ceiling mount air distributor. The unit cabinet and internal chassis are stainless steel. The unit coils are epoxy or optional Heresite baked phenolic coated for corrosion protection. As an option, the unit is provided with 1.6 KW electric heat. The outdoor (condenser) section is rated for Class I, Division I, Group D hazardous locations. The unit is ETL certified by Intertek Testing Services to be in conformance with applicable UL and CSA codes and standards. These units are used on crane cabs, wireline logging units, etc. Unit voltage is 115/1/60 only. Unit size is 13,500 BTUH (nominal 1 ton).
